CHAKRAS

The word chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel. It is a wheel-like spinning vortex that interpenetrates the physical body, with the outer ends of each vortex forming a specific layer of the auric field. The whirling circular motion forms a cavity or vacuum in the center that draws in anything it encounters on its particular vibrational level. It is then processed and returned to the auric field. The major chakras of the human body are the seven chakras that are aligned along the spinal column. Secondary chakras of importance are located in the palms of the hands, the soles of the feet, and at major joints in the arms and legs.

For the people of antiquity – Egyptians, Chinese, Hindus, Greeks, Romans, and aboriginals of many lands – the chakras were an integrated part of daily lives. As these ancient civilizations were conquered, vast libraries of knowledge were destroyed. Only a few remnants of their information on the chakra system have survived – either through the preservation of ancient texts by sacred priesthoods, or orally from generation to generation, as in the traditions of many aboriginal peoples.

In any study of the anatomy of the aura it is important to understand the significance of the chakra system. The chakras exist on all levels of the aura and serve as linking mechanisms between the auric field and the physical body as well as linking mechanisms between the different levels of the auric field itself.

It is usually believed that the three lower chakras correlate to basic primary needs – those of survival, procreation, and will – whereas the four higher chakras are concerned with our psychological makeup -defining love, communication, and knowledge, and connection with the spiritual realms.

Chakras

Although we may refer to the “lower chakras” as being concerned with mankind, and the “upper chakras” as being concerned with spirituality and God, each chakra is no less important than the other. For instance, the first chakra has a number of frequencies (all within the Red vibration), ranging from very low to very high. The goal is to rise above a chakra’s lower frequencies into its higher ones.

The additional chakras are the:

– Cosmic Gateway – located 24 inches/60 cm above the crown chakra

– Universal Gateway – located 18 inches/45 cm above the crown chakra

– Stellar Gateway – located 12 inches/30 cm above the crown chakra

– Soul Star – located 6 inches/15 cm above the crown chakra

– Earth Star – located 12 inches/30 cm below the feet

These are still discoveries in progress of course, but let’s look briefly at each one of these:

Cosmic Gateway

Link to the galaxy, it is linked to all the other experiences (and dimensions) we’ve had throughout the universe. This chakra is where the soul fragments and scatters itself throughout the universe, requiring ‘retrieval’. Once all aspects are retrieved the person has full access to all the infinite possibilities of who they’ve been and are–their ‘universal archetypes’, for lack of a better term. By bringing the essence of those aspects or soul fragments into one chakra it gives us the ability to work with all our talents and abilities. This chakra also facilitates communication with light beings and visiting other places in the universe.

Universal Gateway

This is the universal aspect of Being. All is one universal flow, this is our way of becoming one with that flow. It is our access point to the divine, a point that we can use to feel closer with the universe and all that it is. The Universal Gateway is also where duality begins, so to speak. It is the ‘field of overlap’ between Light & Dark, it is where we have all contracts and agreements belonging to our soul. Clearing the Universal Gateway Chakra is pivotal in bringing a person into balance and allowing them to have full access to their Divinity.

Stellar Gateway

A lot of the clues are in the name – a gateway into Universal consciousness and Oneness. Impossible to define Oneness in this context, but I would think of it as something experiential rather than theoretical – a transcendental Divine experience and somewhat impersonal. It is said to be challenging to maintain this chakra in an open state. Said to resonate with the crystal Calcite.

Soul Star

This chakra is located just beyond the 7th chakra as part of the 12 chakra system.

This works in tandem with the Earth Star chakra and acts as a sort of filter for the energy received in the Stellar Gateway to be “brought down” into the physicality. The balance with the Earth Star is needed to ground (at a deeper level) the Divine experience.

It’s also a way of integrating the Soul understandings into the human experience i.e. the fact that everything is an experience at the Soul level and that there is no good bad. The level of balance needed in this chakra is indicated by the fact that we can’t escape into the Soul understandings of this chakra and avoid the human experience. i.e. we find the mid-point.

This chakra needs ongoing cleansing and one thing that needs to be cleared is astral pollution that is picked up in the dream state. A lot of this can be avoided by setting a clear intention before going to sleep to avoid the lower astral planes.  Good grounding is also vital.

When the Soul Star chakra is balanced, we feel aligned with our purpose, connected to the world beyond us, and in touch with our intuition.

The mind is quiet and we experience a great sense of ease and harmony wherever we find ourselves.

When the Soul Star chakra is underactive, we may feel lost or without purpose, disconnected from the collective community, or trapped in the illusions of the ego.

When the Soul Star chakra is overactive, we may feel disconnected from our body and the earth, unbalanced, or confused about how to bridge our earthly and spiritual sides.

Earth Star

This chakra works in harmony with the Soul Star (though all chakras work in a harmonic fashion of course) and also for the connection to the Higher Heart and the electromagnetic energy fields of human consciousness and the planet.

This also works to improve a person’s grounding. Once we start to actively “retrieve” the energies of the Soul through our healing/regression work (or already have them in place) then it becomes essential to ground with this chakra.

One method is to ground as per normal i.e. roots / base chakra into the heart of Mother Earth with a two connection between person/planet. Then additionally ground down via the Earth Star chakra into the planet. As this chakra works in tandem with the Soul Star, my thoughts are that this will serve to help us anchor more of our Soul energy, or make it easier to process through the human experience or both.

Resonates with crystal Hematite, however I would also add use it in tandem with black tourmaline and I would also think about both Nuumite and Spectacularite and see if they resonate for you. The latter both have interesting vibrations in that you either get them or you don’t and my own sense is that you resonate with one or the other.

The Earth Star Chakra can be found approximately 10-12 inches below your feet, having the lowest position of all the transpersonal chakras.

Some texts suggest that the Sanskrit name of the Earth Star chakra is Vasundhara, which translates as “The Daughter of the Earth”.

Also called the “super root”, the Earth Star chakra is the grounding energy center that belongs to the etheric body. It represents our “anchor” for both the physical and the spiritual world.

Together with the 12 chakra system, it forms a complete energetic structure that starts from the ground up and all the way to the highest cosmic gateway energy center.

The more you activate and use the superior chakras, the more you have to pay attention to the lower chakras as well. It’s important to always keep things in balance.

Earth Gateway

Like a root from our toes, it connects us to mother earth. The Gaia Gateway is located below this chakra and represents a stronger connection with the Earth. We can think of it as the deepest state of our roots. Just as the roots of a plant that has moved away from its soil dry up, if we move away from mother earth at levels that cannot transmit energy, our connection with life may be interrupted.

A higher resonance of the Earth Star Chakra, this chakra anchors the high-frequency light body to the physical body and the Earth body. Thus, the event we call grounding, balancing the energy that harms us in the body with the energy of the world, can occur.

Your resonance becomes easier to rise when you tune your electromagnetic frequency to stay in resonance with that of the planet. Energy flow can occur as it should, and all body functions are balanced. The soul is fully grounded in the human and earthly spheres and is aware of the divine. We may be aware that you are part of a sacred whole, the earth’s energy system and All That Is. Together with our Stellar Gateway chakra, it governs our physical and metaphysical presence in the world.

Alta Major

The alta major chakra is the chakra that is effective in accelerating and expanding consciousness. From this point of view, we can look at both the physical body and our higher self. For this reason, it can combine ghostly vision and intuitive insight. It symbolizes expanding consciousness. It can show us the dimension we live in and its larger dimensions. Seeing a multidimensional picture in a single frame is possible by the consciousness feeling the whole existence. If we can reach this consciousness, we can learn our place in the journey of destiny and find our way without getting stuck on things that will not happen. This means you will have a strong sense of direction in life and a well-functioning immune system.

The alta major chakra governs the behavioral, autonomic and endocrine functions that keep the body in harmony with external factors. This chakra governs all of our hormones (endocrine or auritic). Everyone can feel that we direct our lives to the extent of our consciousness. Everything we do (consciously and unconsciously) consciously or unconsciously starts from this level.

Arm

These chakras, on either side of the elbows, are similar in purpose to the Knee Chakras. In fact, the prayer state-bent knees, palms together (bent elbows), and lowered head-opens the devotional chakra and allows great openness to higher, more spiritual realms. The body joins in the prayer with its energy, enhancing the spiritual connection.

Blocked elbow chakras lead to great self-centeredness. The colors for this are yellow orange in color. Complimenting crystal is rose quartz. This chakra governs and is the zone of feelings toward home and family issues. Chakras, one in each elbow, are connected to the second and third chakras. Elbow chakras are located on the inside point of the elbow; their task is to accept and limit our relations. Disturbances in these chakras show as an inability to say ?yes? or ?no?. The left elbow chakra controls our emotional perseverance and the right our intellectual perseverance. When someone has problems lifting at the elbow it means they have problem in lifting things in other areas of consciousness also.

Causal

Working with this chakra is said to be very helpful to still the mind. Meditation and other self-mastery techniques are very useful in this respect as well as the Harmony symbol for Reiki II (and above) people. Once this chakra starts to do its work (and bear in mind the human being has to do its work too) then we can allow more Soul energy from the Soul Star into the human experience.

This chakra resonates with the crystal Kyanite and I would recommend a piece of that under your pillow at night.

Ear

Although the ear chakra (named as a singular chakra although located just above each ear) is not one of the primary 7 chakras, it does play an important part in hearing guidance and messages.

When the ear chakra is clear and spinning easily and smoothly, it allows us to access our gift of Clairaudience, the gift of hearing intuitively. This chakra helps us to receive guidance from the divine, from the angels, from our spirit team, and from our higher self. That guidance can be received in the form of words, phrases, songs or tones.

The angels, through their message today, are inviting us to pay heed to the words, phrases etc that may be trying to capture our attention.

Perhaps you’re listening to the radio and some lyrics in a song seem louder, seem to stand out. There’s a message there for you.

Perhaps you’re looking through your personal music collection and wondering what to listen to and you’re drawn to a particular song or album. There may be a message waiting for you there.

Foot

Balancing the energy centers in the feet, also known as foot chakras, can bring a sense of overall wellness and balance to the body, mind, and spirit. In this article, we’ll explore the concept of foot chakras and share some tips on how to align them for enhanced wellness.

Foot chakras, according to ancient wisdoms, are believed to be connected to the body’s seven main chakras, and correspond to specific organs, glands, and systems within the body. When these energy centers are balanced and aligned, they can promote overall wellness and reduce stress, tension, and pain.

Hand

The hand chakra, also known as the hrit-chakra, is located in the center of the palm of each hand. This chakra is believed to be the center of energy for the hands and is associated with our ability to give and receive love, as well as our capacity for healing. In Sanskrit, the word “hrit” means “heart,” and this chakra is said to be closely linked to the heart chakra.

According to ancient Hindu texts, the hand chakra is said to have originated from the Mother Goddess, the creator, preserver and protector of the universe. In the texts, it is said that Adi Shakti used her hand chakras to create the universe, making this chakra a powerful force that can help us manifest our intentions and desires.

When the hand chakra is balanced and open, we are able to give and receive love freely and are in tune with our ability to heal ourselves and others. However, when this chakra is blocked or imbalanced, we may experience physical symptoms such as tingling or numbness in the hands, as well as emotional symptoms such as a lack of compassion or an inability to connect with others.

Higher Heart

I have a different sense of this chakra to most of those that have already been published and believe chakra center that opens us to the heart of humanity i.e. a sort of global consciousness that enables us to remember many things that are not stored in our personal consciousness such as the people that we need to meet in our lives.

It is also a place to embody the non-judgement that we suspect or know that exists at a Soul level, and additionally there’s almost like a Soul Group consciousness that sits with this chakra.

It resonates with the color turquoise (green of the heart and blue of the throat) and crystals of a turquoise color. It is, in my opinion, incredibly related to the healing of Earth and has a way of connecting with the Earth Star chakra that somehow relates to the electro-magnetic energy field of the collective human consciousness and the electro-magnetic energy field of the Planet.

There is an extra-ordinary connection with certain aspects of both the Pleiadian and Atlantean consciousness that somehow relates to this chakra.

The Higher Heart Chakra is located at the Thymus. The Thymus gland sits between the heart and the sternum, and supports an immune response, producing T-cells that distinguish pathogens and fend them off. The Thymus is energetically represented by the Higher Heart Chakra, also known as the Etheric Chakra, and the Seat of The Soul. It is a filter of unconditional love and acts for the highest good of all, enabling connection with the Divine and Divine Soul Union.

The Higher Heart Chakra energetically connects with higher consciousness and communicates that information to the Heart Chakra through the Thymus.

Energy shifts are taking place as we ascend from 3D to 5D via the 4D bridge. These energy shifts activate the Higher Heart, enabling soul communication by opening the channels of telepathy with spirit guides, and beings in the Astral realms.

It connects the emotions of Divine love, compassion, truth and forgiveness, with the area where language originates, allowing you to speak from the heart.

This is an important area of the body to aid the growth of Spiritual heart based feelings and communication.

Its energy is extremely helpful to everyone who wants to ensure that the way they communicate is compassionate towards others.

The higher heart chakra governs the immune system, and its vibration helps during infections, especially influenza.

It is energy aids the thyroid gland and throat, just above it.

It’s energy helps to improve the general well-being of the physical body, and will aid high blood pressure, and healing of tumors.

Knee

Right behind, through (and in front) of the knee is a vortex of energy, a convergence of above and below, that sits within your energy field of light. This vortex is generated by the functioning of the knee, as the center which allows us to bend and flex, choosing our life direction (and speed) at will. The Knee Chakra is small compared to that of your major energy centers. It’s similar in size to the chakras generated at the soles of your feet. Indeed, the two are linked. I sense the knee chakra as being about the size of an outstretched hand.

Your knee chakra works in tandem with your base or root chakra and serves to stabilize your presence in the physical world. Whenever, I begin a healing session, I’m intuitively drawn first to the knees. I place my hands upon them or in the energy field just out from the knee caps. This serves to balance, stabilize and ground the energy flow of the person I’m working with. And I always receive the feedback of how comforting and supportive it feels to hold and embrace the knees. Try it now yourself. Just place your hands over your knee caps. Hold your hands there for a minute or so and feel the deep sense of balance and protection that is generated by your focused awareness. Your knees may even begin to communicate with you.

Soma

The Soma Chakra is an important energy center in the spiritual body. Its name originates from the Sanskrit word “Amria Chakra,” which translates to Crescent Moon’s nectar. It is one of the lesser-known chakras in the energy system.

The Soma Chakra is the sphere where the soul and body connect, bridging the gap between the physical and spiritual realms. It is located at the mid-hairline or at the upper forehead. It is associated with our spiritual identity and conscious activation connecting to divine essence connecting to the spiritual realm.

Soma chakra symbolizes our spiritual connection to the universe and is associated with the colors Blue, lavender, white, and ultraviolet. It harnesses the water element.

Within this chakra, the masculine and feminine energies reside. Soma chakra symbolizes the union of dualities present within each individual. It serves as a meeting point for the etheric body, the subtle energy body, and the light bodies attached to the physical form.

One of the vital connections of the Soma Chakra is the silver cord, which links the subtle energy bodies to the physical body. This cord enables spiritual journeying and out-of-body experiences, facilitating the exploration of other dimensions and realms.

The Soma Chakra enhances higher spiritual awareness and visionary abilities. It leads the way to the angelic and spirit realms, fostering a connection to these ethereal dimensions.

Spirit Chakra

The Spirit Chakra is located at the base of your spine and is associated with spiritual connection, unity, and divine love. When it’s balanced, you feel connected to something greater than yourself and have a sense of inner peace. When it’s out of balance, you may be disconnected from your spiritual side or experience feelings of disconnection from the divine.

To balance the Spirit Chakra, focus on activities that nurture your spiritual connection such as prayer, yoga, or meditation. Visualizing a bright gold light radiating from the base of your spine as you take deep breaths can also be very beneficial for this chakra.
