Aqua Aura  Quartz crystals are partly natural and partly man made. The crystals are clear or cloudy quartz that has been treated with atoms of precious metals. There are now two methods of creating aura crystals. Place a crystal specimen in a vacuum chamber where the quartz is heated to a set temperature, then a metal vapor is added to the chamber. The metal atoms fuse to the crystals surface, which gives it an iridescent metallic sheen.
